Promto 20mg Tablets (Rabeprazole Sodium)
Promto 20mg Tablets contain Rabeprazole Sodium 20mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in the gastric parietal cells.
Rabeprazole is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive or ulcerative esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and pathological hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, as determined by the prescribing physician. It is also used in Helicobacter pylori eradication regimens in combination with antibiotics.
