COMPOSITION:Each capsule contains TECHNOZOLE CAPSULES by Derma Tecno 150 mg of Fluconazole
INDICATIONS:
- TECHNOZOLE CAPSULES treats vaginal candidiasis, even recurrent cases.
- Effective against dermatomycoses such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, tinea corporis
- Suitable for treating pityriasis versicolor
- Also used for candidiasis
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
- For vaginal candidiasis, take a single 150 mg oral dose.
- Most people experience symptom relief within a day.
- Dermatomycosis treatment requires a single weekly dose of 150 mg, continued for 2 to 4 weeks, or up to 6 weeks as needed
- We define specific dosages for children and patients with renal impairment, and we advise caution.
- Hypersensitivity to Fluconazole or related azoles disqualifies you from taking this medication. Furthermore, taking fluconazole while also taking tiapride is prohibited.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
- Caution is advised for patients with renal and hepatic impairments
- Rare cases of anaphylaxis and serious hepatic toxicity, including fatalities, have been reported
- Potential cutaneous reactions such as Stevens Johnson Syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis
- Fluconazole can cause QT interval prolongation, especially in patients with risk factors
- Use during pregnancy and lactation is discouraged, and contraception is recommended
- Special consideration for patients with potential proarrhythmic conditions
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
- Common undesirable effects (>1% incidence) include headache, gastrointestinal issues (nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc.)
- Uncommon effects include dermatological, nervous system, gastrointestinal, metabolic, and psychiatric symptoms
- Special senses, urinary, general, and reproductive system related effects
- Rare but severe adverse events such as leucopenia, QT prolongation, seizures, anaphylaxis, hepatic issues, and skin disorders
OVERDOSAGE:
For patients with severe cases, hemodialysis might be needed because Fluconazole mainly leaves the body through urine.
