Retrieve Cream Tretinoin + Hydroquinone + Fluocinolone 30g
Description
Retrieve Cream — Tretinoin + Hydroquinone + Fluocinolone Acetonide (30g)
Retrieve Cream is a prescription triple-combination dermatological cream formulated for moderate to severe melasma. It combines Tretinoin USP 0.05% (0.5mg/g), Hydroquinone USP 4% (40mg/g), and Fluocinolone Acetonide BP 0.01% (0.1mg/g) — targeting pigmentation through complementary mechanisms: keratolysis, melanin inhibition, and anti-inflammation.
Prescription required. Use only as directed by your dermatologist. Mandatory daily sunscreen use during treatment.
Composition
- Tretinoin USP 0.05% (0.5mg/g): Keratolytic retinoid — accelerates epidermal turnover, enhances hydroquinone penetration
- Hydroquinone USP 4% (40mg/g): Depigmenting agent — inhibits tyrosinase, reducing melanin synthesis
- Fluocinolone Acetonide BP 0.01% (0.1mg/g): Low-potency fluorinated corticosteroid — reduces inflammation and minimises irritation from the other actives
Indications
Short-term treatment of moderate to severe melasma in adults. Sun protection measures (SPF 30+ broad-spectrum sunscreen) are mandatory during treatment.
How to Use
As directed by your dermatologist. Generally applied once daily at night, at least 30 minutes before bedtime, to affected hyperpigmented areas. Do not use for longer than directed. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning throughout treatment.

FAQs
Is Retrieve Cream available without a prescription?
No. Retrieve Cream contains Tretinoin, Hydroquinone, and a corticosteroid — all requiring a prescription. It must only be used under the supervision of a registered dermatologist.
How does Retrieve Cream treat melasma?
The triple combination works synergistically: Hydroquinone inhibits melanin synthesis by blocking tyrosinase; Tretinoin enhances skin turnover and improves penetration; Fluocinolone Acetonide reduces the inflammation that drives hyperpigmentation and minimises irritation from the other actives.
How long does Retrieve Cream take to show results?
Visible improvement in melasma may be seen after 4–8 weeks of consistent nightly use. Maximum treatment duration is typically 8–12 weeks as directed. Long-term maintenance may involve less frequent application.
Why do I need sunscreen while using Retrieve Cream?
Tretinoin and Hydroquinone both increase photosensitivity significantly. UV exposure during treatment can worsen hyperpigmentation and counteract the cream's effects. A broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every morning is mandatory.
Can Retrieve Cream be used during pregnancy?
No. Both Tretinoin and Hydroquinone raise safety concerns in pregnancy. Do not use Retrieve Cream during pregnancy. Consult your doctor for safe alternatives.
