Description
Terbisil Tablets 250mg contain Terbinafine hydrochloride, an allylamine antifungal agent indicated for dermatophyte infections of the skin and nails. Each strip contains 10 tablets, manufactured by Saffron Pharma under pharmaceutical quality standards.
Terbinafine acts by inhibiting squalene epoxidase, an enzyme critical to fungal sterol biosynthesis, leading to accumulation of squalene and subsequent fungal cell death. It is active against dermatophytes including Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton species.
