- Pause topical retinoids on the hands for several days
During the session:
- Protective eyewear is worn
- The diode handpiece is glided across the back of hands, knuckles and over fingers with contact cooling
Post-care (first 24–48 hours):
- Avoid hot water, sauna, steam and prolonged dishwashing/heat exposure for 24 hours
- Apply soothing aloe vera or post-laser gel as advised
- No exfoliating scrubs or harsh sanitisers on the hands for 48 hours
